There is the storyboard I created in year 2000 to lead the thought about how to provide a better experience for an insured. Today, a data-driven insurer would provide the customer with an internet-based claim notification. The customer would then be able to take photos of the damage with her mobile device and send them to the insurer directly for automatic, i.e. AI-based, damage analysis and quantification (see e.g. page 31, zoom in by using your mouse’s scroll wheel while pressing the control [ctrl] key).
